The locks need to be changed on your new place. Schedule a locksmith prior to settlement to make sure that your safety comes first. Better yet, as part of the Caza tribe, this service is included as part of our concierge service.

Your house is only required to be “broom clean” prior to settlement. Schedule a house cleaning or plan on doing it yourself. Don’t forget the carpets.
3rd
Change the batteries in your smoke detector upon move in. Change the batteries annually and it will be easy to remember because it coincides with your settlement date.
